Providing time and venue for trainers from different countries to teach on the next day s CLEP event. Final agreement on the presentation materials, final clarification of organizational issues, sighte visit to the areas designated for demonstrations at the venue. The training itself covers main types of trucks and trailers. The exercises include a theoretical and practical part, working with tools and equipment, safety measures, and are organized in a real environment. Customs officers participating in the training will be introduced to the safe and proper use of tools and the various specificities arising from the different constructions of trucks and trailers. The training provides advanced knowledge for customs control of freight vehicles.

The training covers main types of trucks and trailers. The exercises include a theoretical and practical part, working with tools and equipment, safety measures, and are organized in a real environment. Customs officers participating in the training will be introduced to the safe and proper use of tools and the various specificities arising from the different constructions of trucks and trailers. The training provides advanced knowledge for customs control of freight vehicles. The training focuses in particular on the procedure for controlling trucks at border crossings, checklists for inspecting trucks, safety measures, customs documents and modalities and modes of smuggling, the structure of large trucks, and safe methods for performing physical controls. The training also includes other aspects of vehicle technology.
