The training focuses on radiation issues, in particular on technical and working measures to limit the exposure of persons and the negative impact on the environment and, as well as on the equipment needed to determine radiation dose, dose rate and source activity.

The objective of this CLEP event is to improve the professional and technical skills and professional competencies of customs officers performing customs controls at the external land border of the EU. This includes the application of risk management methods and IT applications, as well as the documentary and the physical checks. The event aims to be a ‘train-the-trainer’ format to further enhance the outreach that this sharing of Hungarian and CELBET expertise can have across the countries under the Customs program. During this training the best practices, experience and specific cases may also be shared amongst the participants.
