Providing time and a venue for trainers from different countries to deliver training during the upcoming CLEP event. Final agreement on the presentation materials, clarification of outstanding organizational issues, and a site visit to the areas designated for both theoretical and practical parts of the training.

This training relates to the main types of cars and vans. Exercises are organized in a real environment. Customs officers participating in the training will be acquainted to the safe and proper use of the tools and the different special features stemming from the different build and power of the vehicles. The training provides advanced knowledge for searching cars. The training focuses specifically on the structures of personal cars and vans and on safe methods to perform controls. The training includes also other aspects of vehicle technique.

The training programme focuses on managing conflict situations arising at airport customs control points, with particular emphasis on preventing potential conflicts during the inspection of passengers and their baggage using correct customs terminology in English.
