Centralised Clearance for Import simplification allows economic operators to lodge one customs declaration at one customs office regardless of where the goods are presented. The economic operator communicates only with the supervising customs office as single point of contact! The digitalisation of the Centralised Clearance for Import concept at EU level is achieved by the EU Centralised Clearance for Import, Phase 1 System, that implements the streamlined communication between the different Customs Offices in different Member States.

Course description

This eLearning module will guide the trainee through the UCC Centralised Clearance for Import (CCI) concept that will be applied with the implementation of the EU CCI Phase 1 system, and it will focus on the benefits and impact of the system in the procedures.Upon completion of this module, the trainee will be able to understand, in the respective role as customs officer or trader, the system, their main functionalities and the benefits that the use of the system will bring to the process.

Target Audience

This course is addressed to economic operators and customs officers from national administrations dealing with the UCC Centralised Clearance for Import (UCC CCI) procedure.
