Personal data
Updated Account Retention Policy- The retention period has been adapted to 1 year instead of 14 months.
- Inactive users are deleted daily instead of on a yearly basis. Notifications will be sent:
- At 10 months of inactivity.
- Again at 11 months.
- A final deletion notice will be sent in the 12th month before account removal.
Resolved Issues
Platform-wide fixes:
- Training catalogue: Fixed an issue where the catalogue appeared empty on first access.
- Badge downloads: Badges now download without the infinite loading issue.
- Daily cache clearing: Automatic cache clearance implemented to optimize performance and reduce downtime.
Administrator-specific fixes:
- Report navigation: Large report generation no longer blocks access to other platform pages.
- Event configuration: The "Profile-Based" checkbox now correctly reflects saved configurations.
Smoother, more reliable system
The code and the database have been refactored to improve the security, the maintainability, the performance and the robustness of the system:
- Code refactoring and optimization.
- Database optimization with better referential integrity.
- Obsolete data has been removed.
- Improved security for data entered through forms.
New features and enhancements
Administrator-specific updates:
- Course duration report: Optimized for faster, more efficient generation.
- Expanded Reports (12 and 4): Now includes data for Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Kosovo, Moldova, and Ukraine.
General platform enhancements:
1. Badge visual updates: Refreshed badge designs for better clarity and aesthetics.2. Improved Notifications:
- Application submitted and Application approved notification now remind users to confirm participation for events with registration deadlines.
- A new reminder notification will be sent to approved users two days before the registration deadline to remind them to confirm their registration.
4. Accessibility improvements: Resolved issues to comply with EU accessibility standards.
5. Date and Time standardization: Updated to align with the Europa Web Guide.
6. Restricted course access: Streamlined process for requesting and approving restricted course access, delegating responsibilities to member states.
These updates are designed to boost platform performance, ensure seamless operations, and improve the overall user experience.
