Short description
The training covers the main types of electric vehicles. Exercises are organized in a real environment. Customs officers attending the training will become familiar with the safe and correct use of tools and instruments. The training provides advanced knowledge for searching in electric cars and trucks. The training focuses specifically on vehicle types powered by different electric system (power train,motor systems,) like HEV/BEV/PHEV/MHEV.

Description
Customs can strengthen safety and security within the Union. Even the filtering out of goods, which are harmful to citizens, society and nature or in general, means more safety and security in Europe and in the global context.
The training aims to teach the participants the basics and the risks of searching in high-voltage vehicles, the main types of cars and heavy trucks. Exercises are organized in a real environment with experienced and trained instructors. Customs officers participating in the training will become familiar with the safe and correct use of the tools and the various special functions resulting from the different construction and power of the vehicles.
The training provides advanced knowledge to search for different types of electric vehicles. The training focuses specifically on passenger cars and heavy trucks. The goal is safe methods for performing checks in this type of vehicle.
Profile of participants
The training is aimed at customs officials who work with vehicle inspections on a daily basis. Customs officials working in the field of the car search (i.e. in mobile groups, ports, border crossing points)
You should have worked for more than 3 years.
Participants will be selected based on their profiles provided in the application. Practical everyday experience and great interest in vehicle searching is the key to participating in this training.
