Description
Purpose and content of the training workshop
This workshop will provide insight in the functioning of the EU-framework for mutual tax recovery assistance.
It will deal with:
1) A detailed overview of the EU legislation for mutual recovery assistance between EU Member States (Directive 2010/24/EU + implementing legislation) and mutual assistance between EU Member States and Norway on the basis of the EU-Norway agreement.
2) Overview of EU legislation for mutual recovery assistance with third countries (UK, Switzerland ).
3) Detailed presentation + hands-on training on the use of the electronic forms for mutual recovery assistance and the central application eFCA Recovery.
The participants physically present at the training will have to pass a test at the end of the training.
Working language: English. There will be no interpretation.
Preparation: The participants will receive relevant materials before the training workshop, in an electronic format.
Profile of participants
Profile
Participants are tax officials of a Member States (+Norway) who are newcomers in the field of recovery assistance and need a training on the EU legal framework and the use of the electronic forms for tax recovery assistance.
Number of participants - Registration
- The number of participants is limited. Admission to the course is provided on a ‘first come, first serve’ basis. If candidates need to be rejected, they will be given priority for future trainings, presumably to be organised later in 2024-2025. If really needed, candidates may be rejected for physical participation in order to obtain a balance among Member States interested to participate in the physical training.
- It is planned to have a streaming of the training workshop, so that it can also be followed online. Interventions by online participants will be possible, though by nature limited compared to physical participants.
- Each participating country can present up to 3 candidates for physical and up to 5 candidates for online participation in the workshop.
- In the application, please select your preferred mode: online attendance or in presence.
