Description
Purpose and content of the training workshop
This workshop will provide insight in the functioning of the EU-framework for mutual tax recovery assistance.
It will deal with:
1) detailed overview of the EU legislation for mutual recovery assistance between EU Member States (Directive 2010/24 + implementing legislation) and mutual assistance between EU Member States and Norway on the basis of the EU-Norway agreement.
2) Overview of EU legislation for mutual recovery assistance with third countries (UK, Switzerland).
3) Detailed presentation + hands-on training on the use of the electronic forms for mutual recovery assistance.
The participants physically present in the training workshop will have a test at the end of the training workshop.
Working language: English. There will be no interpretation.
Preparation: the participants will receive relevant materials before the training workshop, in an electronic format.
Profile of participants
Profile
Participants are tax officials of a participating country (+Norway) who are newcomers in the field of recovery assistance, who need a training on the EU legal framework and the e-forms for tax recovery assistance.
Number of participants - Registration
- The number of physically present participants is limited. (One or more other physical training workshops may be organised later in 2023-2025).
- Each participating country can present candidates for physical participation in the workshop.
The participation can only be guaranteed for 1 person per participating country.
As the capacity to host more participants will depend on the interest shown by each participating country – some countries may wish to have their officials attending online – participating countries may present more candidates for physical presence in the training workshop, on the condition that they indicate a priority order for the selection of these candidates. This selection will take account of the maximum capacity of the meeting room.
