The EU's new advance cargo information system “Import Control System 2 (ICS2)” supports the implementation of the new EU customs safety and security regulatory regime aimed to better protect single market and EU citizens. It collects data about all goods entering or transiting or transhipping the EU territory prior to their arrival through the ENS.Course description
This course is part of the ICS2 eLearning Programme.
This eLearning module provides an overall business overview of ICS2 for consignments by air cargo general from the economic operator perspective.
It is recommended to also take the other ICS2
eLearning modules on the Customs & Tax EU
Learning Portal.
Target audience
This eLearning module is addressed to economic
operators dealing with the ICS2 process for air
cargo consignments.

- The ENS data requirements.
