The objective of this session is to provide participants with an overview of the CBAM financial adjustment, the reporting of embedded emissions, and the roles and responsibilities of operators, accredited verifiers, the European Commission and National Competent Authorities in the verification and review process.

Course description

This course provides an overview of the reporting of CBAM embedded emissions in CBAM declarations, including the use of actual verified emissions and default values. It clarifies the activities performed by operators, accredited verifiers, the European Commission and National Competent Authorities (NCAs) in the calculation, verification and review of embedded emissions.
